Uttara Kerala Folk Song Competition was held at Pinjanipara, Kakkayangad under the name ‘Grama Sangeet’. Winners were given Rs.15000 for the first prize, Rs.10000 for the second prize, and Rs.5000 for the third prize and a trophy.
